Rheem Commercial
Give us a call for all of your commercial water heater needs. ProtectionPlus® 4 Year Warranty Extension Kit
Here's how this works.
This kit consists of a high quality magnesium anode rod. When this rod is installed in your Rheem water heater*, the minerals in the water attack the rod instead of the walls of the tank, thus prolonging the life of the water heater.
The installation of the kit increases the warranty by four (4) years.

Catch Pans
Catch pans are available in sizes to fit all water heaters.
These pans are available in plastic and aluminum and are approximately 2" deep.
They are installed under your new water heater and plastic piping is then connected to the pan and run to the closest floor drain.
This prevents damage to floors and furniture in the event of a leak.
Thermal Expansion Tanks What is a Thermal Expansion Tank?
A thermal expansion tank is a small pressure vessel that has a rubber
diaphragm installed on the inside and is filled with pressurized air on only one side of the
diaphragm. When installed, water enters the other side of the diaphragm
until the water pressure is equal to the air pressure. When the water pressure drops, the air pressure equalizes to the pressure of the water.
When do I need one?
In most cases, a thermal expansion tank is only required if there is a pressure regulator installed on the main water line that enters your home.
The pressure regulator is designed to maintain the incoming water pressure to your home to between 60 and 75 P.S.I.
However, the pressure regulator also creates what is called a "closed system".
As the cold water inside your water heater is heated, it expands. This is called "thermal expansion".
This expanded water has to have a place to go, and in homes without pressure regulators, that 'place' is backwards into the public water piping under the street.
A pressure regulator does not permit water to expand backwards and thus prevents thermal expansion and the result is water leakage from the temperature and pressure relief valve on the water heater.
The thermal expansion tank allows for this expansion to take place.
